DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION

Including everyone in company growth.

At Coca-Cola FEMSA, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) are the foundation of innovation, business transversality and sustainable growth; they are reflected in our Sustainability Framework, reaffirming its importance in our operations and value chain.

We seek to mirror the diversity of the communities in which we operate, reflecting and respecting the wealth of identities, perspectives and talents that exist in every place.

We are committed to creating environments where each individual feels valued and included and, thus, contributes their unique talents; regardless of age, ethnic or national origin, political affiliation, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, physical, health, social or immigration condition, or any other that violates human dignity.

We adapt our strategies to meet the needs of each country in which we are present. We strive to attract, develop, and retain a diverse workforce, including Indigenous, African-descendant, refugee, LGBTIQ+ community members, seniors, ethnic individuals, and those with a vulnerable socioeconomic status.

In addition, we strive to extend our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in our value chain. From proactive work with our supply chain promoting local procurement to Community Development strategies generating empowerment actions for women and vulnerable communities.

COMMITMENT AND RESPECT FOR HUMAN RIGHTS

We respect Human Rights, with respect for human dignity being a fundamental principle above any other business consideration.

Since 2022, we have been a signatory to the UN Global Compact and reaffirmed our commitment to integrating its 10 universal principles related to human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption into our operations and value chain.

In addition, we have a Due Diligence Model in Human Rights. It is aligned with the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. Its aim is to uphold our commitment and responsibility to human rights by transforming challenges into opportunities, creating value for the business, and making a positive social impact in the countries in which we operate.
